Where am I?
This blog is an archive of the "Humboldt County" Newsletter, a periodic correspondence with the cast, crew, investors and friends of the film. It dates back to the late stages of script development and follows the filmmakers through financing, casting, crewing-up, production, editing, music composition/licencing, marketing, film festival screenings, and hopefully sales and distribution.
Truth be told, because this is more of a respository for past-newsletters than a tell-all blog, many of the gory details have been omitted from the posts. Nevertheless, if you are interested in a high-level view of the filmmaking process, and this film's path in particular, you might want to start at the beginning (December 2005) and work your way forward.
